The running of the 145th Preakness Stakes will take place on Saturday from Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland. Post time is scheduled for 5:45 p.m ET and live coverage will start at 3:30 p.m. ET.

  • — The post positions for the 145th running of the Kentucky Derby have been pulled. The horses that will run in this Saturday's race along with their morning line odds are below: 1. War of Will 15-1.
  • Kentucky Derby post positions. Tiz The Law, who won the Belmont Stakes earlier this year, will be racing out of the No. 17 post position. Below is the full list of starting spots, as well as each.

Kentucky Derby race results, winners and past history. Previous winners include Big Brown (2008), Street Sense (2007), Barbaro (2006), Smarty Jones (2004), and Secretariat (1973).

The Kentucky Derby champion Authentic is the favorite is today’s race and close behind him is Louisville bases Art Collector, who was a Derby contender before he was scratched a few days before the Kentucky Derby.
